  1. I would get everything I can for $50.

  2. I subscribed by RSS

  3. I would use some of the money to buy bedding. It is all super cute! Love the green and white bedding! Also, I am doing the pattern challenge (whoops, I got obsessed and finished already!), and I am going to subscribe to your blog. I’ll post pics of the dress I made soon!

  4. Pillows!
Lots of lovely pillows–or just one or two to start :0)

  5. Have you seen the Alessi Josephine Banana Kitchen Timer by Stefano Giovannoni and Rumiko Takeda?
It’s hilarious! a monkey with banana earrings kitchen timer. I think Giovannoni has the greatest sense of ‘fun & functional’ in the kitchen!

  6. I would by a fabulous toy for Lilli! Maybe blocks, or an elephant?!

  7. I would definately buy some of their cool pillows. Mine are tired after too many years.

  8. I love this sight. I just spent a WHOLE lota time looking though all the things I want (now need). I guess if I had to narrow it down to just two things it would be the Alessi Paradise Bird Milkjug. I am in love with it and am already thinking of times when I could use it around other people.
Or the lady bug scoot/ride on toy. I saw this at a playgroup the other day and asked the mom where she got it and she said it was a gift so she didn’t know. NOW I KNOW! Huzzah! I am so happy. . .happier if I win, though!

  9. I have been a subscriber to your blog for a while now. Ever since I won that darling ruffle top that I still adore. I have had so many compliments on it! Here is my entry number 2!

  10. I want to join in the pattern challenge but I guess it is too late or I am just not all there (blaming the pregnancy here) and I cannot figure out how to get the button to show up on my page. I want to start blogging about my challenge but I want the button up first.
Also, I had a question: can we still participate if we use our own patterns? I don’t mind sharing some of the tutorials or changes I make to other patterns but I mostly sew from my own. Would this still count toward your challenge or are you looking for mostly pattern reviews?
let me know. i want to do mine about maternity wear. I am pregnant now and would love to sew the following in the next few months:

    Maternity bathing suit
    Maternity skirt(s?)
    Maternity sleeping bra
    Maternity ‘belly band’

    • Not too late at all!!!! In fact there is NO time limit for this! Do it on your own schedule!

Try this for the button (not sure why it wasn’t working?):

      Alternative Name

of COURSE you can do your own patterns. It would be AWESOME if you shared them via tutorials, but we understand if you can’t do that. I just want to encourage people to make their own garments and to encourage each other in these endeavors!

  11. That chandelier inspired lampshade would be all mine…if I won. 🙂

  12. And it’s on my FB status, too! 🙂

  13. WOW! Hmmmm…Where to start.

    or
Blomus Esto Finger Food Set, 7 Piece
    or
    Blomus Suavo Tea Caddy
    or
Alfi Modern Classic Shiny 0.94-Liter Cognac Thermal Carafe

Just too many cool things to list. Thanks!

    http://www.allmodern.com/Alessi-AMK01-AAS1057.html
(There really is no rhyme or reason to it because I don’t even use paper clips enough to justify having a holder, it is just too cute!)

And I would get the pencil holder critter to hold my fabric marking tools. (Though my boyfriend would probably snag it for his art pencils!)

  30. I have subscribed to your blog, via Google Reader.

  31. I joined the Pattern Challenge and will be posting a blog about it later this weekend, if not tonight.

On that same note, if you are on Facebook please add me as a friend. My email address is darlingchatterbox@ymail.com you should be able to search for me that way. (When you add me please include a note letting me know it is you.)

On my Facebook I have started a picture album with pictures of possible dress patterns I could use for my “Birthday Dress” in May. I am hosting a giveaway via the album. (I.e. vote for your favorite patterns (up to 3) and get an entry into the drawing for each vote.) The details are in my “notes” section on Facebook. So far I’ve only had one person vote, which is rather discouraging. It would be great to have others put in their say. …You will also see a picture of the silk I’ll be using.

  32. Okay here is a link to the blog post. I have also added your blog to my “Blog Roll” and put the Pattern Challenge badge on the side bar. This will be fun.

  33. So many choices! I think I would have to buy something for my home.

  34. Wow…so many cool things. I’d be torn on whether to spend it on the kids (the chalkboard wall vinyl), the dog (a pet bed) or one of the many, many things I want for myself!

  35. I’m nervous about it, but I’m going to join the pattern challenge! I’m a fairly new sewer and the only clothing I’ve ever sewn are pajama pants. I’d love to sew a dress for my daughter’s first birthday though, so I’m going to try that.

  36. I have no idea how I could possible decide what to buy. Probably a surprise for the husband.

  37. Great blog, love the color wheel quilt! I just subscribed.

  38. I follow your blog!

  39. I would pick the Teema Pasta Bowl in Red and the Alessi Cum Crano Salis Tray in Mirror Polished.

  40. I subscribed via bloglines.

Upon visiting the site, I made a beeline for the lamps. I’m on a mission to find the perfect one at the perfect price. I really like the Lights Up! Oscar Boudoir Lamp, but I’m not sure about the color choices available. I’d prefer white.
I really like the chalkboard you posted. Oh, there are so many choices. One could get lost there!

  46. I follow your blog in my Google Reader and have for a while. 🙂

  47. *And* I’m joining the Pattern Challenge! Psyched about it actually. I’m blogging about my goals today!

    Chalkboard decal.

    Happy Valentine’s Day

  62. I don’t even know where to start on what I’d get…having a dialup connection hinders the enjoyable looking process of deciding. But I know I would spend every penny of that $50!! I might even be nice and spend it on my sister for her upcoming birthday…I said MIGHT!!!
PS I’m joining the pattern challenge and though I just found you through SewMamaSew–I’m following you too! THANKS!!

  63. Well it’s hard to say without browsing but mostly likely some wall decorations 🙂 I do like that chalkboard decal though!

  64. I visited several web sites except the audio quality for
audio songs existing at this web site is really marvelous.

  65. You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find
this matter to be actually something which I think I would
never understand. It seems too complex and very broad
for me. I’m looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!
