Several months back a friend requested custom bedding for her first daughter. Penelope is now almost 5 months old, and she is such a doll! Her mama, Blythe, is incredibly stylish and gorgeous, so it was no surprise that she wanted Penny’s room to be completely custom. Blythe picked out the fabrics for the bedding (mostly Amy Butler with a lovely polka-dot mixed in) and I put together a custom set of: crib bumper, crib skirt, minky-backed blanket and pillow for her rocker.
Don’t you love that mobile? It was made by another crafty/beautiful/stylish friend, Lauren, who coincidentally is expecting her first child this year!

Lucky baby! I love the fabrics!
So pretty! Great job Sarah!
That looks so pretty. A wonderful little girls’ room.
I am the lucky mother of Penelope and friend of Sarah! The quality of the bedding Sarah made is so much better than anything I found in stores. I’m not really into barbie pink and annoying childish prints, so it was so fun to pick out fabrics that would be soft and soothing for me to look at as I rocked a crying baby in the middle of the night.
Thank you Sarah!
Wow Sarah! Those look great. Love her fabric choices and the polka-dot fabric goes perfect.
Very darling! Love the fabric choices. 🙂
So freaking cute! You have to show me how so someday when Sammy has his own room, and maybe even a crib for himself, then he can be stylin too.
Love the room and the name, Penelope, my sister’s name. She didn’t become Penny until after high school graduation and then to only those who worked with her. I love the many different textures.
