Please excuse my delinquency in blogging lately, I’ve had a lot on my mind! It’s baby time around the Seitz household…we’re having a baby!!
We’ve got plenty of time to prepare, the due date is in early April (no baby sewing until at least next month when we find out the gender). We couldn’t be more excited! I’ve been feeling really well, just mainly tired a lot. Up until the last couple of weeks I’ve had almost no desire to craft at all! I come home from work and instantly want to put on my jammies and plop in front of the TV (healthy, I know!). With the onset of colder weather, my desire to craft is slowly returning.
I made two small baby blankets (loveys) recently. One which was commissioned by a friend at work and another which I made for my nephew in Denmark. These blankets are fun to make and go pretty quickly.
Next project on deck is making my Halloween costume, I’m going to be Dorthy!

Hey, Dorothy, (:-) beautiful baby blankets! And congrats! I’m awaiting the arrival of my first grandbaby, a boy, at the end of October/beginning of November! What fun! Thanks for sharing!
Congratulations! That is so exciting. My last child was born in April and it was the perfect time of year for a new baby. Love your baby boy blankets, they look so cozy!
Congratulations! How exciting! 🙂 Very cute blankets, do you have a tutorial for them somewhere?
congrats, sarah! you must be so excited!
Hi Sarah – Congratulations! What an exciting time for you! =)
Congrats Sarah!!! That’s great news!!!
Ethan loves his blanket–thank you for making one especially for him! We love you and that little bun in the oven. xxoo
That is such happy news! I’m excited for you guys. Congratulations!
Congrats, Sarah! That’s awesome news! 🙂
Can’t wait to see all the cute little things you’ll be making!
Congratulations!
If you have a tutorial for this, I’d love to see it! Two of my favourite people in the world are taking their bun out of the oven in February and it would be nice to give them something more personal than just a thing I bought.
I will try to put one together! Thanks for your comment, Lucy!
Yay for baby Seitz! Your little lovies are so cute!
Yea for new baby. Our newest Seitz baby is now seven months old. I imagine that she is the last until great-grands come along. I love to sew for them. My six year old grand loves dresses and my four year old grand wants fleece pj’s. I usually make fleece one layer blankets with flannel binding for the babies and they love them.
