Which one do you like best?

I’m re-upholstering a glider I got at Goodwill for $25.  The glider will be painted white.  Keep in mind the nursery walls will be grey, the furniture will be white, and the rug I bought is also grey, so everything in the room is neutral EXCEPT for the fabrics, which is where the pops of teal and apple green come in.  Here’s the room collage, as a reminder:

So, I’m trying to decide what to cover the glider in, and I’ve got 6 choices I’m between.  I can’t decide if it would be best to keep the glider neutral also, but still accessorize it with a fun bright pillow using the other fabrics I bought.  Or, I could go with a fun bright print for the glider.

In the pictures you’ll see that the top 7 fabrics are the ones I have already purchased to make the crib bedding and accents throughout the room.  So, just look at the bottom fabric to see the choices:

So, what do you think?

  1. Def a hard pick! But I like #1 and #5. I’m excited to see what you choose!

  2. I also agree, #1 & 5 – #1 being my favorite. the brighter the print the more it will hide stains 🙂

  3. I would say #2 or 5…but, I would keep the glider a calmer pattern, as you want little babe to want to get calm when you rock them…fun, fun, fun!

  4. My vote is for #5, or a neutral color with accent pillows that have #5 fabric 🙂

  5. #2 or #3…although i LOVE the green choices, I think you should go with grey because it can be used in other rooms further down the road.

  6. My favorite print is 5. Though I wouldn’t say “boy” if I saw it – but that doesn’t really matter. But if you are looking for neutral, I like 2. And you could still accent with 5!

  7. #5 gets my vote

  8. I vote for 2 or 6. Tough choice- all of them are cute!

  9. No 1 for sure!

  10. I think they all look great and I won’t bother with an opinion because I’m guessing you’ll pick which one suits your aesthetic. I can’t wait to see the finished nursery.

  11. I like #1 and #3–keeping sort of neutral with bright spots. These aren’t my colors but I know whatever you choose will be super. Lucky child. Looking to see what you decide.

  12. Where as I really love #5, looking at the rest of the fabrics you’ve already purchased, I’d go with #6 for green or #3 for grey to keep continuity with the style.
